Commercial & Field Regulators – Model 243, Model 243-RPC & Model 046
We have several commercial and field regulators to handle a variety of applications.
Model 243
The Model 243 is a classic commercial regulator. It can be used in a variety of commercial applications, such as small regulator stations, pressure factor measurement, fixed-factor billing, and gas-fueled equipment.
Model 243 Features & Benefits
Supports high flow rates while maintaining stable outlet pressure for demanding service applications.
Available with internal relief valve (IRV) and low-pressure cut-off (LPCO) configurations for added system protection.
Versatility between two diaphragm case sizes and multiple orifice sizes allows for a large span of outlet pressures and flow rates.
Easy to install and adjust with a union connection between the body and diaphragm case.
Model 243-RPC
Based on our Model 243, the RPC uses a secondary pilot regulator to sense downstream pressure and modulate the main valve—delivering stable, repeatable control largely unaffected by inlet pressure fluctuations. It was designed for use in fixed factoring, pressure factor measurement, pressure-compensated metering, and other critical gas control applications.
Model 243-RPC Features & Benefits
The pilot-operated Model 243-RPC is accurate to within ± 0.5% (absolute outlet pressure) from minimum to wide-open flow.
Available in threaded and flanged bodies with a wide range of orifice sizes to match system capacity requirements.
Designed for use in monitoring regulator sets and compatible with additional over-pressurization protection devices.
Model 046
With its simple, durable design, the Model 046 is built to perform in rugged conditions. The Model 046 is a great fit for applications such as farm taps, filed regulator settings, and high-pressure industrial air.
Model 046 Features & Benefits
Designed to handle inlet pressures up to 1,000 psi (model-dependent), supporting a wide range of high-pressure gas applications.
Can contain an internal relief valve or be used as a monitor regulator for overpressure protection.
Multiple spring ranges and orifice sizes allow precise pressure control across a broad operating range.
The union nut connection design simplifies installation, inspection, and servicing without removing the regulator from the pipeline.
